Michael Joseph Jackson was born on 29th August, 1958
in Gary, Indiana. The youngest son of Joseph Jackson and Katherine Scruse. In 1964 Michael joined the famous family band, The Jackson 5 who released a string of hits under the Motown and Epic labels.
Michael went on to release solo albums including Off The Wall, Thriller, Bad, Dangerous and HIStory.
In 1993 he was accused of child sex abuse by a teenage boy, Jordan Chandler and his father. Jackson was accused of drugging and molesting the 13 year old. The following uear Jackson payed $22 million to the Chandlers in an out of court settlement.
In 1994 Jackson married Lisa Marie Prestley, the daughter of Elvis.
Michael died unexpectedly on 25th June 2009 causing a media extravaganza.
